The Lissos Gorge starts at the little harbour of Sougia and is a short but beautiful gorge. The gorge is rich in oleanders and at some points there is a bit of scrambling involved. Spectacular is the impressive overhanging wall with beautiful colours! The route through the gorge is also the way to walk to the ancient city of Lissos, a very interesting and magical place! Also there is the possibility to make a round walk and walk back along the Byzantine chapel of Agia Irini.
