Discover…on foot publishes local walking guidebooks on Crete. In 2009 we published our first book about the traditional village of Vamos (Discover Vamos... on Foot) in Western Crete. The books cover a relatively small area where you can make about 10 walks. For each walking guidebook we create the walks ourselves. We discover local paths, small churches, villages etc. All our books contain historical information, presentation of sights and you can find useful tips. Each walk description includes a detailed map and many colourful pictures. All our books are printed on high quality paper and the firm cover has a coating to protect the book against rain or dirt. Practically all walks are round walks and the length is roughly between 3 and 13 kilometres. We have published now 8 books in the series Discover... on Foot. Besides these books we published a book with 10 long walks in the Apokoronas region in Crete, made a small booklet about traditional kafenions in Crete and published a detailed touring map for the Apokoronas region.
